LUCILLE S. MCCLAIN

Lucille Speros McClain, 76, of the 400 block of Warren St., died Sept. 30, 1997, in her residence.

Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of Norris E. McClain Sr. She retired from the civil service as a secretary. Mrs. McClain was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church; Kiwanis Club, Royster Chapter, Norfolk; the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters Auxiliary; Women's Club of Norfolk; Jennie B. McClain Circle of Blackwater Baptist Church; and the Virginia Belles.

Survivors include two sons, Norris E. McClain Jr. and his wife, Cheryl L., of Norfolk, Richard A. McClain and his wife, Addie P., of Virginia Beach; a sister, Pauline Murray of Richmond; two brothers, Arthur Speros and Clifford Speros, both of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Park Place United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles Smith. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
