MIRIAM W. DENISON

Miriam Weisman Denison, 91, died Oct. 1, 1997, in Sentara Nursing Center.

Mrs. Denison was a native and lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Pa. She was the widow of Theodore Edward Denison, her husband of 65 years.

In her early years, Miriam was active in various Jewish and community organizations. At age 50, however, she began a 35-year career in real estate in which she won numerous awards and was often recognized for her achievements.

Survivors include her sons, Eugene A. Denison of Suffolk, M. Richard Denison of Valencia, Calif.; five grandchildren, Terri Denison Budman of Norfolk, Karl Denison of Virginia Beach, Linda Creim, Joanne Erickson and James Denison, all of the Los Angeles area, as well as four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service and burial will be conducted Sunday in Philadelphia. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling local arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
