Ruth B. ``Bea'' Moore, 83, of the 2100 block of Effingham St., died Oct. 1, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Born in Portsmouth, she was the widow of Clifton H. Moore and a member of St. John Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary M. Blunt of Portsmouth; a son, James E. Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Mary Carter of Portsmouth; a brother, George Langhorn of New York, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. John Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Robert L. Earls. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing, at Corprew Funeral Home, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
