Emma Jacqueline Hogge, 69, of the 1000 block of Winward Road died Oct. 5, 1997, in her residence.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie Thomas Hogge; two daughters, Jacqueline Fisher and Thersa Kassab, both of Norfolk; a son, Robert T. Hogge of Chesapeake; a sister, Ruth Bassett of Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Fred Braswell. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
