POLICE ASK FOR HELP IN LOCATING ROBBER OF LIFE SAVINGS BANK

Police are asking for help in finding the man who robbed a Life Savings Bank Monday.

The robber entered the bank at 6201 Portsmouth Blvd. shortly after 10 a.m. He indicated he had a gun, but no weapon was displayed, police said.

The robber reportedly fled toward Hodges Ferry apartments.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 30s to 40s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown hat and a jacket resembling a woman's jogging jacket in teal, pink, white and black.
