ALBERT L. CARNELL

Albert L. Carnell, 84, of the 3400 block of Glen Arden Road, died Oct. 6, 1997, in a Chesapeake hospital.

Born in Pulaski County, Va., he was a retired welder and a member of Tidewater Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Annie J. Carnell; three sons, Rondy A. Carnell and his wife, Frances, of Greer, S.C., Leo Carnell and his wife, Linda, of of Lake Stevens, Wash., Clinton E. Carnell and his wife, Dee, of Mill Creek, Wash.; a brother, Clarence H. Carnell of Hillsville, Va.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Eddie N. Carnell and two sisters, Blanche and Pearl.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Elder J. Edward Kirkpatrick. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
