BERRY D. YAVNER

Berry David Yavner, 68, of the 900 block of Armfield Circle, died Oct. 8, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Yavner was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was the co-owner of Central Stores in Norfolk for 40 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Temple Israel in Norfolk and was a member of Norfolk Masonic Lodge No. 1.

Survivors include a sister, Shirley Berlin of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Stanley F. Yavner, Jerome Yavner and Alvin H. Yavner, all of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Mikro Kodesh Cemetery, Norfolk, by Rabbi Michael Panitz and Cantor Yael Fischman. The family will be at 324 Bradford Ave., Norfolk, following the funeral services. Memorial donations may be made to Jewish Family Services. H.D.
