JAY E. BANNON

Jay Edward Bannon, 70, died Tuesday Sept. 30, 1997, in his home.

Born in Washington, N.C., he was the son of the late Edward and Ann Louise Russell Bannon. He was a sales representative with the Reuben H. Donnelley Co., Norfolk, for 26 years. Mr. Bannon was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a veteran of the Air Force Reserve during the Korean conflict.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Bannon Hastings of Selbyville, Del.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in Galilee Episcopal Church, 3928 Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach, by the Rev. John Burley. Hastings Funeral Home, Selbyville, is handling arrangements. The family suggests donations to a favority charity of choice. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
