HUGH L. MUSSELWHITE

Hugh L. Musselwhite, 83, of 143 Carrie St., died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, in City Hospital, Bellaire.

He was a retired surveyor and engineer with Oglebay-Norton Coal Co. and a member of the first United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Mansfield and Evelyn Musselwhite; and two brothers, Milford Musselwhite and Elwood Musselwhite.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Ramsay Musselwhite; a daughter, Carole Cahoon of Chesapeake; a son, David Musselwhite of Vallejo, Calif.; a sister, Esther Boogades of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; two brothers, Ralph Musselwhite of Woodstown, N.J. and Dr. Roscoe Musselwhite of Chesapeake; two granddaughters, one grandson; and two great-grandsons.

The funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, by the Rev. Bobbit and Dr. Musselwhite in the Bauknecht Funeral Home, Powhatan Point. Interment was in the Powhatan Point Cemetery. Oman Funeral Home provided information. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
