FRED E. QUIST III

Fred E. Quist III of Powells Point Road died Oct. 7, 1997, in a local hospital.

He was a native of Norfolk and employed with the City of Virginia Beach Public Utilities Department.

Survivors include his father and mother, Fred and Joyce Quist of Powells Point Road; a brother, Roger Quist and wife, Debbie, of Virginia Beach; two nephews, Jason and Brian Quist; two very close friends, Joyce Hunger and Harris Perry. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Luise Quist.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. James W.H. Sell of Christ and St. Lukes Episcopal Church and the Rev. Irwin M. Lewis Jr. Memorial donations may be made to Christ and St. Lukes Episcopal Church Organ Fund, Norfolk. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
