POLICE SEEK HELP TO IDENTIFY INJURED MAN

Police are seeking help identifying a man who was severely beaten early Tuesday morning in the 700 block of St. Pauls Blvd.

Police spokesman Larry Hill said dispatchers received a 911 call about 1 a.m. that several people were assaulting a man on a bicycle. The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The man is described as a black man in his late 30s to early 40s. He has black hair with some gray, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was riding a silver men's bicycle.
