STEPHANIE A. CANEDY

Stephanie Ann Canedy, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at DePaul Medical Center.

Mrs. Canedy was born June 28, 1911, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Sigmund and Bronislawa Otrowski. She was a member of the Fleet Reserve Ladies Auxiliary. She attended the Juilliard School of Music, New York City, and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Levine.

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Harley Canedy; three daughters, Pauline Prucha, Irene Kendrell and Kathleen Badyna; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to American Foundation for the Blind, 820 First St., N.E., Suite 400, Washington, D.C. 20002.
