Mrs. Eleanor June Born, 63, of the 2000 block of Hen House Drive, died Oct. 7, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was a homemaker. She attended Frieden's Lutheran Church of Philadelphia and was confirmed at the Church of Our Savior, Philadelphia. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church while she resided in Laurel, Md., from 1959 to 1989. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lodge No. 75, Laurel, and a graduate of the Class of 1952, Dobbins High School, Philadelphia.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Henry W. Born; a daughter, Lorraine E. Flenner of Severn, Md.; a son, Christopher H. Born of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Anna Pitt, Catherine McEntee and Dorothy Faulkner, all of Philadelphia; a brother, Joseph Bloomer of Laurel; and a grandson, Ryan Flenner of Severn.
A memorial service was conducted at noon Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Bob O'Conner. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
