RORY JENKINS

Rory Jenkins, 38, of the 400 block of Culloden St. died Oct. 4, 1997, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.

Born in Chicago, he was a former sanitation worker for the City of Suffolk employed for 13 years. He was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church, Suffolk.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia H. Jenkins; a son, Christopher Harden of Suffolk; father, Rylent Jenkins of Chesapeake; three sisters, Enetria Jenkins of Chesapeake, Cheryle Merritte and Callette Fountain, both of New Haven, Conn.; a godson, Deshawn Montreal Beamon of Suffolk; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Verree Jenkins, and a son, Roderick Jenkins.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Metropolitan Baptist Church, Suffolk, by Dr. M.R. Boone. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at noon Saturday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
