Police have identified a man who was found critically injured in the 1400 block of 27th St. Wednesday morning.
William Branch, 30, of the 900 block of Ingleside Road, was found lying in an alley. Rescuers took him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died at 4:30 a.m.
