F. COLONIAL HOPES TO EXTEND GREEN RUN'S SCORING WOES

Every coach strives for consistency. First Colonial's Frank Webster seems to have found it.

During the Patriots' four-game winning streak they have allowed four touchdowns - one in each game - while committing only four turnovers - one in each game.

That formula has been good enough to earn First Colonial (4-1, 3-0) a No. 3 ranking and the Beach District lead.

The Patriots' defense, led by tackle Eric Miller, linebacker Josh Culley and cornerback Sokham Om, faces another formidable test tonight in Green Run's Charles Wilson. Wilson leads the area in total offense with 730 yards - 525 passing and 205 rushing.

``It's hard to decide whether he's the best quarterback in the district, but certainly he's as good as any we've faced,'' Webster said.

Wilson's problem recently has been getting the Stallions (3-2, 2-2) in the end zone. Green Run scored 60 points in its first two games and only 26 in the past three.

Pick: First Colonial 20, Green Run 7. The Patriots exploit the Stallions' lack of a running game, forcing Wilson into too many third-and-long situations.
