ALLEN E. HILL

Allen ``Al'' E. Hill, 41, of the 800 block of C Ave. departed this life Oct. 8, 1997, in a local hospital.

He was a Norfolk native and worked as a roofer for J.T. Whitfield Roofing & Repairs for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert R. Hill Sr. and Octavia Woodson Hill.

Survivors include six sisters, Ann Johnson of Chula Vista, Calif., Catherine Hill of Philadelphia, Pa., Barbara Hill of Virginia Beach, Maman Boose, Carolyn Bates and Veronica Hill of Norfolk; three brothers, Robert R. Hill Jr., Glen Hill of Virginia Beach and Howard Hill of Norfolk; a daughter, Precious Gee; a grandson; a special cousin, Leon Hill, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Chapel by Elder Dan White. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
