JAMES E. WATSON

James Edward ``Jimmy'' Watson, 52, of the 1700 block of 146th St., died Oct. 6, 1997, in West Memphis, Ark.

A Norfolk native, he was a long distance truck driver with PST Van Lines. He had retired from the Navy 10 years ago after serving more than 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Deidra Watson of Los Angeles; a daughter, LaRhonda and a son, Brenan, both of Los Angeles; his mother, Mary S. Wilridge; his father, James P. Watson; two sisters, Yvonne Edmonds of Savannah, Ga., and Patricia J. Walloe of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Bernard W. Watson of Chesapeake and Lloyd Walloe of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Zelda Watson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and two special friends, Tess E. Watts of Chesapeake and Linda Watson of Gardena.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel, Norfolk, by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
