SUSIE A. SMITH

Susie Anner Smith, 90, of the 4100 block of San Salvadore Drive, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, in her residence.

A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., she was the widow of Thomas James Smith. She attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C.

Survivors include three daughters, Pansy Stafford of Chesapeake, Barbara Furr of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Shirley Brown of Yadkinville, N.C.; a son, Thomas O. Smith of East Bend, N.C.; two sisters, Fronie Livingood of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Millie Phillips of King, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by the Rev. T.A. Powell. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
