FENTON L. FULGHAM

Fenton L. Fulgham, 82, of the 400 block of Connecticut Ave., died Oct. 9, 1997, in Norfolk Health Care Center.

A native of Zuni, Va., he was the son of the late Jonah and Mary L. Fulgham. He had retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a postal clerk and was a member of Second Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Anne V. Fulgham; sons, Harvey Leon Fulgham of Fredericksburg, Va., Oswell Huggins of Chesapeake and Samuel Williams of Norfolk; sisters, Lucy H. Haynes and Jennie Fulgham of Zuni, Lula Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Second Calvary Baptist Church, 2904 Corprew Ave., Norfolk, by Dr. Geoffrey V. Guns. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Gilfield Baptist Church, Ivor. The body will be in Second Calvary Baptist Church by 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge.
