STANLEY C. WHITE SR.

Stanley C. White Sr. of the 1300 block of Maltby Ave. died Oct. 12, 1997, in his residence.

A native of Norfolk, he was the widower of Beatrice White. Mr. White was a chauffeur for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and a member of Union United Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Delores C. Riddick, and her husband, William Riddick, of Norfolk; a son, Stanley C. White Jr., and his wife, Barbara White, of Richmond; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two devoted cousins, Frances Cuffee and Petie Wilson; a nephew, Curtis White; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Union United Church of Christ by the Rev. Joseph Copeland. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
