ERNESTINE E. WILSON

Ernestine E. Wilson, 74, of the 1500 block of Parks Ave. died Oct. 11, 1997, in the home of daughter Marion B. Moore.

Mrs. Wilson retired nine years ago from Virginia Beach Schools after 33 years of service. She was a member of St. Marks AME, Virginia Beach, the Sara Allen Club and usher board. She was the widow of William H. Wilson Sr.

In addition to her daughter, survivors include two sons, William H. Wilson Jr. and Leon F. Wilson; a sister, Cornelia Murray, and sister-in-law, Margaret Everett; grandchildren, Carlos Moore, Don Moore, Juan Moore, Malkia Sanders, Bonnie-Lyn Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Ida Mae Branch and Mr. E. Everett, and a daughter, Janice Jordan.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Marks AME Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Lawson. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
