ROBERT L. SMITH

Robert Lee Smith, 24, of the 2500 block of Woodshire Circle, died Oct. 10, 1997.

Born in Norfolk, he was the son of Paul and Cathy Hartry of Suffolk and Douglas Wayne Smith of North Carolina. He is also survived by two brothers, Christopher Hartry of Charlotte, N.C., Adam Hartry of Suffolk; a half-sister, Mariah Smith of North Carolina; a half-brother, Douglas W. Smith Jr. of North Carolina; grandparents, John and Phyllis Hartry of E. Bridgewater, Mass.; grandmother, Barbara Franklin of Knotts Island, N.C.; grandfather, Lloyd R. Jackson of New Brunswick, Canada; great-grandmother, Verna Jackson of Bangor, Maine; six aunts, five uncles and 11 cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. John E. Bracken III. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
