Herbert V. Capps of the 900 block of Barberton Drive, died Oct. 11, 1997. He was born in Princess Anne County.
Survivors include his son, Napoleon B. Capps III of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Marion Davis, Helen Roberson, Lois Polk, all of Virginia Beach, Vivian Dowell of Philadelphia, Pa.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, by the Rev. Richard Mims. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
