JAMES WALLS

Jame Walls, 84, of the 3000 block of Somme Ave. died Oct. 12, 1997, in Harbor Point Nursing Center.

A native of Concord, N.C., he was a cement finisher for Ames and Webb Construction Co. retiring in 1979 after 36 years of service.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 49 years, Anne Elizabeth Walls; two daughters, Ebbie Jo Jackson of Concord, N.C., Deborah Walls of Mitchellville, Md.; three sons, Michael Walls, Tracy Fobbs, both of Norfolk, Stacy Fobbs of Blaine, Wash.; a sister, E.J. Johnson; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including two devoted nieces, Mary Carthorne and Denise Carthorne.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the residence. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
