WILLIAM H. BYRD JR.

William H. Byrd Jr. of the 3700 block of King's Point Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1997, at his residence.

Coming from Birmingham, Ala., he was an area resident for 25 years. Mr. Byrd was a graduate of St. Bernard High School in Cullman, Ala., an alumnus of Auburn University and a member of the A.I.A. He was employed with Sicash Builders.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Byrd; a son, William Keith Byrd; a daughter, Pam Seeley; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Byrd Sr. of Gadsden, Ala.; a brother, Charles Lewis of Hueytown, Ala.; two grandchildren, Tiffany Anne Byrd and T.J. Seeley; an aunt, Doris Johnson of Midfield, Ala.; and a great-aunt, Mildred Stephens of Gadsden.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be private.
