MAX ROBBINS

Max Robbins, 75, died Oct. 14, 1997.

He was a store owner of Arcade News for 20 years. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was a member of Congregation Adath Jeshurun, Newport News, and the Masonic Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Robbins; two stepdaughters, Judy Nachman of Virginia Beach, Sherry Silnutzer of Cherry Hill, N.J.; three sisters, Beverly Hershman, Irene Young, Mary Reif, all of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Callahan.

A funeral was conducted Oct. 15 in Hebrew Cemetery by Rabbi Yosil Rosinzweig. Riverside Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Congregation Adath Jeshurun, 12646 Nettles Drive, Newport News, Va. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
