Lists of property crimes and robberies in the city are provided to The Clipper by Chesapeake Police. They include the address at which the crime occurred, the missing items and the approximate date. For robberies, a description of suspects also is provided.

BUTTS ROAD BOROUGH

(The rural southeast section)

Petty larceny, 600 block of S. Battlefield Blvd. Missing: tool box with assorted tools from bed of pickup truck. Sept. 17.

Residential burglary, 2200 block of Baum Road. Missing: Microwave oven, JVC compact disc player, RCA videocassette recorder, telephone, jewelry box with assorted jewelry, compact disc and Dust Buster vacuum cleaner. Sept. 19.

Petty larceny, 2500 block of Pocaty road. Missing: Motorola cellular telephone. Sept. 12.

Grand larceny, 1200 block of Chelbrook Road. Missing: a 1995 Ford Contour, beige, dealer tags. Sept. 19.

Commercial burglary, 100 block of Liberty St., Tidewater Towing. Missing: currency. Sept. 20-21.

Residential burglary, 1100 block of Hazel Ave. Missing: 200-250 of compact discs, a nylon bag and a jewelry charm. Sept. 16.

Petty larceny, 800 block of Sparrow Road. Missing: water pump from a lawn pool. Sept. 16-17.

Petty larceny, 500 block of Woodspring Oak Circle. Missing: a leather purse. Sept. 17.

Petty larceny, 500 block of Oaklette Drive. Missing: a purse. Sept. 18.

Petty larceny, 1300 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: Motorola cellular telephone. Sept. 18.

Grand larceny, 4100 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: Sony CD player. Sept. 18.

Strong-armed robbery, 100 block of Red Cedar Court, Super 8 Motel. Victim was on the pay telephone holding his wallet in his hand when two males asked for directions. The suspects attacked the victim and took his wallet. The suspects left in an unknown direction. Description of suspect No. 1: black male, 22-23 years old, 5-foot-7, 135 pounds and wearing a red T-shirt. Suspect No. 2: black male, 6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Sept. 20

Strong-armed robbery, 1000 block of Paramount Ave. Victim was holding on to his bicycle when a male grabbed it from him. The victim advised the suspect to give the bicycle back, but the suspect rode away. Description of suspect: black male, 15 years old and wearing a red shirt. Sept. 20.

Residential burglary, 1100 block of Kimberly Court. Missing: Nutty Buddy ice cream cones and currency. Sept. 18-19.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Grand larceny, 3100 block of Western Branch Blvd. Missing: $200 and Virginia operator's license No. 225456805. Sept. 17.

Residential burglary, 3000 block of Valleyjo Place. Missing: Nintendo 64 video game, Pioneer compact disc player, two Nintendo game cartridges, Benjamin Sheriton pellet pistol, two gold wedding bands, Eastpack back pack, Motorola cellular telephone and two rings. Sept. 18.

Grand larceny, 4000 block of Condor Drive. Missing: Sony compact disc player and currency. Sept. 17-18.

Petty larceny, 4000 block of Tanager Crossing. Missing: Pyramid speaker box. Sept. 17.-18.

Petty larceny, 4200 block of Holly Cove Drive. Missing: Locin pistol. Sept. 17-18.
