Annerbell Brewer, known as ``Auntie,'' of the 1800 block of Rollis Road died Oct. 15, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital. She was 83.
A native of Norfolk County, she had retired from Maryview Hospital and was a member of Good News Baptist Church. She was the widow of Elmo A. Brewer and was predeceased by her parents, Mary Todd Marriner and Clarence A. Marriner, and a sister, Blanch Bailey.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Greene of Chesapeake; a brother, Ben Marriner of Hertford, N.C.; four nieces and three nephews; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Good News Baptist Church by Dr. Walt Coles. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
