HOYT A. TELLER SR.

Hoyt Alton Teller Sr., 64, of the 1400 block of Deep Creek Blvd., died Oct. 15, 1997, in a local hospital.

A native of Princess Anne County, he was a retired supervisor for Norshipco and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife, Annie B. Teller, and his mother, Rosa Salmon Toler of Chesapeake.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Jones and Barbara Teller, both of Chesapeake; five sons, Hoyt A. Teller Jr., Robert W. Teller, Douglas Teller and Marvin Teller, all of Chesapeake, and Stephen Teller of Portsmouth; a sister, Violet Johnson of Chesapeake; a brother, Samuel Teller of Chesapeake; two half-brothers, Billy Teller and John Art Teller, both of Virginia Beach; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Rick S. Williams. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
