Eva Dominitz Meyerson, 74, died Oct. 8, 1997, at her home at Leisure World.
She was a former resident of Portsmouth and was predeceased by her husband, Melvin R. Meyerson, and her mother, Anna Soroko Dominitz.
A lady of unusual charm and verve, Eva retired from Montgomery College-Rockville and was a founding member of Court Appointed Special Advocate Program and a member of the Montgomery and Maryland County Juvenile Court Committees. She was selected as 1986 Montgomery County Woman of the Year and was a member of National Council of Jewish Women and the Board of Leisure World Kiwanis. During one of her trips to Oxford University, a composition (fugue) written by her in college was performed by her professor on the Oxford organ.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Marilyn) and Andy (Paula); grandchildren, Adam, Rob, Matthew and Emily; and sister-in-law, Virginia M. Mirman of Norfolk.
