ARTA M. GRAHAM

Arta Marilyn Graham, 71, a native of Norfolk, died Tuesday Oct. 14, 1997, in her residence.

Mrs. Graham was born in Pensacola, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Watson Lehman and Margaret Brooks Lehman, and her sister, Valerie Brooks Hamill. She was a member of Duck Woods Country Club Women's Association and the senior ladies dance troupe, The Wright Tappers. Mrs. Graham was an Episcopalian by faith. Prior to retirement in Southern Shores, Marilyn was employed on the clerical staff of William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.

She is survived by her husband, James Thomas Graham; two sons, James Parker Graham of Mount Clemens, Mich., Douglas Brooks Graham of Seattle, Wash.; and a grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, in St. Andrews by the Sea Episcopal Church, Nags Head, by the Rev. Charles Gill. A reception will follow the memorial service at Duck Woods Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
