LUCILLE WIGGINS

Lucille Wiggins, of 8524 Gates Road, died Oct. 15, 1997, at her residence.

She was a native of Nansemond County and daughter of the late John and Lula Howell Porter, and wife of Robert Lee Wiggins. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, its senior choir and was also former church treasurer.

Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters, Lillian W. Gaston of Suffolk, Evelyn M. Roane of Wheaton, Md.; three sons, Jessie Lee Wiggins of Suffolk, Phillip Wiggins of Portsmouth, Linwood Wiggins of Haynesville, Va.; three sisters, Annie M. Boone of Suffolk, Luberta Lawrence of Franklin and Rosa Lee Joyner of Courtland; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Olive Branch Baptist Church by the Rev. James Banks. Burial will be in Mount Sinia Church Cemetery. The body will be taken from Peebles Funeral Home to the church at 10 a.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
