Josephine Grimaldi Fiorini, 103, of the 1100 block of W. Revere Pt. Road, died Oct. 16, 1997.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a seamstress and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, the Women's Club, and participated in the Bible Study Group. She was widowed at the age of 45 by James Fiorini.
Survivors include three daughters, Rita Evelyn Lambaiso of Virginia Beach, Gilda F. Andre of Naples, Fla., and Anna M. Thompson of Wallingford, Pa.; six grandchildren, Jimmy Angelucci and Bobby Angelucci of Cleveland, Ohio, James Andre of Wallingford, Pa., Jenro Lambaiso Jr. of Suffolk, Lorraine Heath of Chesapeake and Michael Lambaiso of Virginia Beach; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Triesta Angelucci; a granddaughter, Kathleen Thompson DeAugustine; and two great-grandsons, Carlo DeAugustine and Corby Lambaiso.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Fr. Charles Gerloff. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, in Holy Cross Cemetery, Philadelphia. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the Children's Leukemia Foundation, c/o Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 Children's Way, Norfolk, Va. 23517.
