Edward Henry Stephenson, 90, a native of Edenton, N.C., died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, in Mary Washington Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Quita Mellott Stephenson and the son of the late John Henry and Madge Bond Stephenson. He was a retired accountant with the federal government.
He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Johnson of California; two sons, Edward H. Stephenson Jr. of Washington, D.C. and John B. Stephenson of Arlington, Va.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Evans Funeral Home with burial in Beaver Hill Cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
