MILTON C. JONES

Milton Casby Jones, 65, a very loving husband, father and grandfather, died Oct. 20, 1997.

A native of Gates County, N.C., he was a son of the late Florence and Herbert Jones. He was predeceased by a brother, James Herbert Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Luke Jones; a daughter, Nancy Barnes and devoted son-in-law, James Barnes; three sons, Wayne Jones, Billy Jones and Larry Jones, all of Suffolk; four sisters, Evelyn Pitscheneder, Janie Phelps, Josephine Riddick and Lena Quimby, all of Suffolk; a brother, Frank Jones of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren, Bridget Holland, Justin Danforth, Wayne Jones Jr., Jimmy Barnes, Milton Barnes, Billy Barnes and Billy Jones Jr.; and a great-grandson, Dustin Holland.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in R.W.
