Pearl Tillage Sarpy, 80, of the 1400 block of E. Bayview Blvd. died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Sarpy was a native of Gloucester and a homemaker.
Mrs. Sarpy is survived by her husband, Edward T. Sarpy Sr.; a daughter, Elizabeth J. Monhollen of Norfolk; a son, Edward T. Sarpy Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Rosewood Cemetery by Fr. Edward Richardson. The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
