FORUM AIMS TO HELP PARENTS OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The special education departments of four South Hampton Roads school districts are co-sponsoring a ``Beyond School Daze'' forum tonight for parents of special needs students.

The forums are designed to help parents whose children will be leaving the school system and looking for other services, including post-secondary options for special needs students at colleges and universities, financial aid, non-degree programs and adult education. Specialists will be at resource centers from 7 to 8 p.m. today, or parents can call the following numbers:

Norfolk: Meadowbrook School, 7620 Shirland Ave. (441-1277).

Virginia Beach: White Oaks Elementary School, 960 Windsor Oaks Blvd. (474-8641).
