Eugene Coston, 56, of the 3700 block of Western Branch Blvd. died Oct. 20, 1997.
He was a retired cook and the widower of Elsie M. Coston. He was a member of Prentis Park S.D.A. Church, Portsmouth, where he was chairman of the deacon board and a prison ministry leader.
Survivors include his daughter, Elsie Brown; a son, Kenny Scott; a sister, Shirley Drew; three grandchildren; and an aunt, Bessie Pitt.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Campostella Heights S.D.A. Church, 1007 Oakwood St., Norfolk, by Pastor Colin Braithwaite. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will assemble at 1425 Elm Ave. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
