CAROL F. MANCINI

Carol Filer Mancini, 70, of the 1300 block of Windsor Point Road died Oct. 21, 1997, in her home.

Born in Norfolk, she was a homemaker and a graduate of the University of Georgia at Valdosta. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Wednesday Morning Bible Group and the Lakewood Garden Club.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Joseph Mancini; a son, Frank C. Cox of Norfolk; a brother, Roland Filer Jr. of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Carol Cox of West Palm, Fla., and Christine Cox of Boca Raton, Fla.; and four stepchildren, James Mancini, Marian McKnight, Diane Sakmar and Richard Mancini.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Frances T. Cooper. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Christ United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
