JOSEPH DEPOLA JR.

Joseph DePola Jr., 40, of the 400 block of Spurlane Circle died Oct. 22, 1997, in a local hospital.

Born in New Castle, Pa., he was a professional Christian singer who had recently completed his first cd, ``Truth in The Time of Lies.'' He was previously employed by Lumber City Inc. as general corporate manager where he worked for 15 years. Mr. DePola was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship where he was also a worship leader.

Survivors include his wife, Robyne Adair DePola; a daughter, Kristin DePola of Chesapeake; mother, Helen Rose Porco-DePola of New Castle, Pa.; father, Joseph DePola Sr. of New Castle; and a sister, Janice D. Ilango of Elwood City, Pa.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in New Life Christian Fellowship, Eden Way North, Chesapeake, by Pastor Bobby Hill. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
