TEEN-AGE THRILLER KNOWS HOW TO SCARE

IT LOOKS LIKE a happy movie at first. In reality, ``I Know What You Did Last Summer'' is a bloody-knife-hitting-a-body-at-the-heart-person-gets-killed type of movie.

Four teen-agers are returning home from a trip. When they accidentally kill someone, they dump the body and take an oath never to speak of it again. But someone FOUND OUT anyway. A year later, this tall man in a black hood is chasing the teen-agers because he's an off-the-wall-crazy-in-the-head type.

So they . . . whoops! I can't tell you any more. That would give the whole movie away.

What I can tell you is that lead actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is awesome in this ``wild terror ride.'' One of the best scenes is when co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar (from TV's ``Buffy, the Vampire Slayer'')is stuck in the back of a police car and gets out moments before the hooded man with the sickle gets to the car. Whew!

It's a pretty good movie - coming from ``Scream'' creator Kevin Williamson. MEMO: James Hayes is an eighth-grader at Lynnhaven Middle School in
