Mattie Pritchard Newsome, 93, of the 3500 block of Maori Drive died Oct. 21, 1997.
She is survived by two nieces, Lillie P. Robertson of Portsmouth and Mildred Cherry of Chicago, Ill.; three nephews, William H. Pritchard of Merced, Calif., William O. Pritchard, and Julius Pritchard, both of Portsmouth; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, West Norfolk, 3603-05 Jordan Lane, Portsmouth, with the Rev. John O. Ponder officiating. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
