FLOYD W. MAXWELL

Floyd W. Maxwell, 69, died Oct. 22, 1997, in a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he was a sales representative for Broudy-Kantor Co. Inc. and retired after 26 years of service. He was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a life member of the Tidewater Owens Masonic Lodge No. 164, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Bettie H. Maxwell; a daughter, Wendie Maxwell-Hale and her husband, Bill, of Virginia Beach; a son, Dale W. Maxwell of Virginia Beach; and a sister, Evelyn M. Beard of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Crute. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, 4392 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, Va. 23462. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
