Nannie Lucille Horne Davis, 95, of First Street died Oct. 22, 1997, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
A native of Southampton County and a former resident of Richmond, Mrs. Davis was the last of 13 children of George and Avarella Felts Horne and the widow of Charlie B. Davis. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by her daughter, Louise D. Lefkovitz of Sedley; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles B. Davis Jr., who was killed in action in the Pacific during World War II.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. David Johnson. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, at 7 p.m. Saturday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
