SUFFOLK COUPLE ROBBED AT GUNPOINT AT THEIR HOME

A couple was robbed at gunpoint in their home Thursday night.

A 64-year-old man was entering his mobile home in the 2600 block of Holland Road at about 8:15 p.m., when a stranger confronted him and demanded money, said police spokesman Mike Simpkins. The suspect had a black handgun with a long barrel and was wearing gloves and a stocking mask, Simpkins said.

The gunman made the man go inside, where he bound him and his wife, then took an undisclosed amount of money and fled, Simpkins said.

The suspect was described as white, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighing about 140 pounds. MEMO: Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk police at
