The FBI and Portsmouth police are looking for a man indicted on federal drug-trafficking charges.
Shaune Antell ``Little Moot'' Dickens, 25, and five other men were charged last month with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine.
Dickens is the only one still at large. The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Police think that Dickens, who is known to frequent the Churchland and Ida Barbour sections of Portsmouth, has stayed in the area, FBI spokeswoman Patty Schlosser said.
He is black, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes, a light brown complexion, short hair, a mustache and goatee. He should be considered armed and dangerous, Schlosser said.
The indictment covers the period from 1990 to Sept. 8, 1997, and alleges that the group used guns, cellular telephones and pagers to distribute illegal drugs from a local residence. The indictment details 121 alleged drug transactions.
The suspects face penalties of 10 years to life in prison without parole if convicted on the conspiracy to distribute charge.
Anyone with information should call the FBI at 455-0100 or Portsmouth Crime Line at 488-7777. ILLUSTRATION: Dickens KEYWORDS: DRUGS ILLEGAL
