Wardell Edwards Jr. of the 700 block of Sendero Court died Oct. 22, 1997, in Norfolk.
Born in Norfolk, he graduated from the School for Deaf and Blind, Hampton.
Survivors include his father, Wardell Edwards Sr.; two sisters, Wanda Rogers and Tony Hughes; three brothers, Clarence Mason, Fernando Mason and Kevin Williams; maternal grandparents, Cleties and Isabella Welch; a stepmother, Marion Edwards; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church by Dr. Donald Taylor. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
