MARY H. CULLINS

Mary Hedgepeth Cullins, 95, died Oct. 23, 1997, in the East Pavilion, Franklin, Va.

Born in Como, N.C., Hertford County, Mrs. Cullins was the daughter of the late Maggie Bryant and William ``Bill'' Hedgepeth. She was the widow of L.C. ``Lynn'' Cullins. Mrs. Cullins was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church, Ruth Bible Class and Missions Action Group.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Elizabeth Burgess and her husband, George, of Franklin, Pearl Manzon and her husband, Phillip, of Silver Spring, Md., Will R. Cullins and his wife, Lynne, of Apex, N.C., Edward O. Cullins and his wife, Pamela, of Alvin, Texas; a sister, Lucille Vann of Murfreesboro, N.C.; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, William Thomas Cullins and Linwood Earl ``Pete'' Cullins; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Buckhorn Baptist Church by the Rev. Larry Allen and the Rev. Dr. Reginal Warren. Burial will be in Buckhorn Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, N.C. from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and at other times at the residence of Terry and Mary Lynn Futrell of Ebo Road, Como.
