Elizabeth Harper ``Betty'' Martin, 73, of the 900 block of E. Goodview Drive died Friday, Oct. 24, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Portsmouth, she formerly worked at J.B. Oglethorpe & Co. and Nations and Crestar banks.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence ``Larry'' Martin; three nieces, Mary Lee Meekins of Portsmouth, Sandra Park of Chesapeake and Betty Jean Whitehorne of Suffolk; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Damon E. Wyatt. The family will be at the residence Sunday at 7 p.m. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
